| Private Glass Blowing Workshops! Learn basic to advanced concepts with hands-on classes. These glass blowing workshops are open to the general public, and lots of Fun! All classes are Private, so you get the most out of your glassblowing experience! Perfect for a date, or any special outing! Paperweight/Blown Glass Workshop * (No prior experience necessary) This class is great for anyone who has ever been interested in hot glass! Come in and create your own paperweight, or blown glass cup with your choice of color and design. Learn the essentials of working with hot glass, such as sculpting, tool use, color application, and proper equipment use. No prior experience needed for this exciting Workshop. Minimum of 2 people per class. Solo persons interested, please send us your information on the "Contact Us" tab, and we will contact you about available class openings. Thanks. Beginner's Glass Blowing Workshop * (No prior experience necessary) This class will cover basic to advanced techniques focusing on how to create blown glass pieces. Students will begin the class making a colored paperweight, or cup, then move their way up to making blown vessels. Essential techniques are covered such as gathering onto a blow pipe, applying color to glass, tool usage, and hot shop safety. This class is a 3 hour private session, 2 hour sessions may be available upon request. The Art of Glass Blowing Workshop (Prior experience required) The objective of this workshop is to teach students more advanced concepts and techniques of glass blowing, and to help give students perspective in their decision-making process and consideration of becoming an artistic glass maker. Scheduling: Classes are available 7 days a week! Simply let us know what day and time you would like to take the class, and we will try to accommodate your schedule. Any questions regarding a date you would like to come in, just email us your request at glassvisionary@yahoo.com . (Cash, check, and credit card all accepted). Rescheduling Please give 24 hours notice for any rescheduling, All rescheduling made within 24 hours of the class is subject to a rescheduling fee of up to $35. *Classes can be paid for below |
