Thomas was born and raised in Sycamore, Illinois and began his career
in glass in 2001 at Talisman Glass in Chicago. There he took a
complete series of classes from Basic to advanced techniques under
the teaching of Sharon Gilbert. After grasping a new knowledge of
glass, Thomas researched further schooling and landed at Corning
School of Glass in Corning, NY.   There he learned a new world of
lampworking techniques under a progressive class taught by a gifted
professional, Sue Ellen Fowler. After completing school at Corning
possibilities opened up, and Thomas landed an apprentice position at a
Chicago land glassblowing studio, working with a glass artist of over
20 years.
